During the last edition of FITUR, held in January 2024, I was awarded the VIII AECIT Prize for the Best Research Article in Tourism published in scientific journals in 2022, granted by AECIT (Spanish Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism) for the article “Post-COVID-19 recovery of island tourism using a smart tourism destination framework“.
